DIY Turnbuckle Shelves For Less
Rustic industrial open shelves are super popular. In search of the perfect shelf for my son’s nursery, I found myself paying over $100 for a tiny shelf that could barely hold a few books. I was able to create these two book shelves for a fourth of the cost and twice the size. You can create this look in under 30 minutes and with very minimal tools.
- Rope hook
- U bolt
- 2 x 4 Wood
- Dry wall hangers
Mark the holes where the u bolt would line up and attach.
Using a power drill, make holes where you marked for the u-bolt.
Mount j-hook (rope hook) to wall directly above shelf where turnbuckle will mount on to.
Then Add Turnbuckles
